In InDesign there is a huge amount of interface detail that is there to help you, provided you know what to look for. This tutorial sequence demonstrates how changes in the cursor indicate that objects are snapping to guides. Snap to Guides is much finer in InDesign than it is in QuarkXPress – and so a visible change to the cursor is a valuable indicator of the snap taking effect.
