Creating a Radial Gradient in Illustrator 

In Adobe Illustrator you can specify a radial gradient in the Gradient panel

In the Gradient panel in Illustrator you can choose Radial from the Type pop-up menu. You can create an ellipical gradient using the Aspect Ratio control and you can access the gradient slider to add, remove and edit color stops to create a custom gradient.
